Each day we scheme; thinking of new ways to improve our races, make them more fun, make them tougher. We want to get people outside and active, make new friends and find an unrealized inner-strength. Metzger Outdoors takes pride in promoting unique adventure races. Our races generally involve a combination sporting disciplines including one or more of the following: mountain biking, running, orienteering, canoeing, kayaking, obstacle courses and water activities (use your imagination here). Metzger Outdoors goes to great lengths to include all types of terrain, single track mountain biking, deep woods, swamps, lakes, rivers, running / orienteering on and off road along with plenty of surprises along the way. We are located Warsaw / Winona Lake this is in northern Indiana between Fort Wayne and South Bend.
Our next race is the Wild Goose Chase
Please note update: In the Wild Goose Chase : Adventure Race, we have added a new category for male, female and co-ed division. It is call the Extreme division. We are going to have special challenges for the the teams who sign up in this category! It will be much harder and potentially more fun! Our next race is The Wild Goose Chase. The staging area will be on the south side of Center Lake in Warsaw, IN. The race is June 9th, 2012 and will be 4 - 6 hours in length. All of our races are designed to accommodate recreational to competitive racers. We are intentionally being very vague with this race. Please refer to the Wild Goose Chase page for more information.

Our adventure races are perfect for people in the states of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky. We will do our absolute best to put on a top quality race. If you are from the cities of Fort Wayne, South Bend, Warsaw, Chicago, Niles, Columbus, Elkhart, Grand Rapids, Kokomo, you are within two hours of our race location.
