NOCTURNAL 2:
Military Edition: Run.Ride.Ridiculous
Three events- Two great causes; one tough day. Want a challenge that represents something? Willing to tough it out for someone else? Leave Grandma at home, this ain’t her kind of evening in the park. Start during the day. End in the dark. Three events to choose from, or be a real Nocturnal Warrior; complete all three. Your true grit will not go unnoticed. A one-of-a-kind post-event night bike parade with a purpose that will leave you feeling completely satisfied. Food, awards and door prizes await, plus one Warrior who finishes all three races will win $500.00 cash
The evening will start with a 10 mile mountain bike trail race (start time 4:00pm) - Click for Info
Next, a 5K evening/night trail race (start time 6:00pm) - Click for Info
Ending with the Ridiculous Race (start time 7:30pm)* NOTE: each team or individual will need one (1) bike for this race * Click for Info
There will be prizes (don’t expect anything too spectacular!) for the following:
* Best costumes (Camo, Military, Reflective, Blinking, Glowing, etc.)
* Coolest Bike (creatively decorated bike, lights, reflective tape, glow sticks)
* Anyone who races in and completes all three (3) races will be entered to win a cash price of $500.00
Immediately following the Ridiculous Race, there will be a night raid on Winona Lake. All racers, families and observers are invited to participate. This will be a non-strenuous bike parade to do something unique. Clue: Matt 22:37-39. If you don't have a bike...we will try to arrange for some sort of transportation.
