Race Starts @ 6:00PM (Maps will be distributed at 5:00pm, so arrive early)
WHAT’S SO UNIQUE ABOUT THIS RACE??
NO ENTRY FEE! However, we will take cash donations from each team member ($200.00 cash to the team who donates the most money). The money we collect will be distributed immediately after the race. You and your team are encouraged to stick around to see what happens! Let’s just say it will be fun.
RACE WILL BE 4 HOURS WITH MOST TAKING PLACE IN THE DARK! You will need to have gear for night running or riding (headlamp/flashlight, some reflective tape or clothing, a blinking red light would also be a good idea)
TEAM SIZE: UNLIMITED (all team members race together) 1 to infinity! Each team will have to come up with a team name and make sure that each team member has the team name on their bike and shirt or backpack.
THE FIRST 15 TEAMS (FILLED) TO SIGN UP CAN CHOOSE THE LOCATION OF ONE CHECKPOINT! (WE NEED YOU TO SIGN UP IMMEDIATELY SO THAT WE CAN MAKE THE MAPS!) NO ENTRY FEE + NO SPONSORS = CASH PRIZE (who’s eligible for the cash prize; Anyone who donates money and finishes the race. The winners of the race GET HANDMADE ALUMINUM FOIL CROWNS and huge bragging rights. Teams with more teammates will get advantages!
GET CRAZY. Racer are encourages to “trick-out” their bikes or wear funny, family-friendly costumes.
· Prize for the best “tricked out bike” ie lights, reflective tape, etc.
· Prize for the best “costume” most unique (no store bought costumes, lots of reflective tape, lights, etc.)
· Prize for the largest number of people on team.
· $200.00 cash for the team that donates the most money.
Bring your grill and some food. Metzger Outdoor's will provide some grub but we would like to have a tailgate atmosphere where teams can walk around after the race and sample each other teams food.
We are doing minimal advertising but hope that each of you will tell as many people as you can about the race. It would be an awesome site to see an INSANE number of racers tearing around the Warsaw/Winona Lake area on race night! More info @ Metzger Outdoors
